Community Hospice: New Brand, Corporate Identity

Orange Beach, Ala., - Community Hospice is excited to release the new corporate identity to the public. Starting August 1, 2013, Community Hospice of Baldwin County will be known simply as Community Hospice. With this change come a new corporate look and identity.

Created in partnership with Myra Beckman of Beckman Design in Birmingham, Alabama, the new brand identity includes a bright color palette and growing tree as the identity mark. Within the tree, three meaningful icons are used: the butterfly, national symbol of hospice care; the heart, a symbol of Community Hospice’s care and compassion; and the dove, a universal symbol of love and peace.

“We chose a tree as our identity mark because we are the only local, not-for-profit hospice in Baldwin and Escambia counties. Our roots are here and we are growing - we want to show that”, stated Katie Spratlin, Community Hospice’s marketing director. “The colors we chose are bright and eye-catching. We are really able to tell the story of Community Hospice through our new look and feel.”
