Community Hospice Receives Generous Donation From Holy Spirit Thrift Store, Gulf Shores

Katie Spratlin, Marketing Director at Community Hospice receives donationFoley, Ala., - Community Hospice of Baldwin County was honored to receive a $1,000 donation from the Holy Spirit Thrift Store in Gulf Shores, Alabama as part of our annual Harvest of Hope fundraising campaign.

The next Harvest of Hope event, themed “Party in the Park” will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Heritage Park in downtown Foley. We invite members of our community to join us for dinner and an evening of music and entertainment, as well as an exciting silent and live auction. The Community Hospice Harvest of Hope fundraiser has grown each year because of the generosity of businesses and supporters like the Holy Spirit Thrift Store. The 2013 Harvest of Hope fundraiser raised more than $30,000 to be used in providing hospice care to patients without insurance or other means of payment. At Community Hospice it is our goal to never turn a patient away due to their inability to pay.

“I was thrilled when I received the call that Alicia and the entire group at Holy Spirit Thrift Store had chosen to donate to Community Hospice. They have been long time supporters of our goals and mission, and we would not be as successful without their care and generosity”, stated Katie Spratlin, Director of Marketing for Community Hospice.
